Sri Lanka National Musical Instruments

Ravanahatha: An ancient stringed instrument with a history dating back to the epic Ramayana. It resembles a fiddle and is played with a bow. It is named after the demon king Ravana. Thammattama: A pair of cylindrical drums used in traditional Sri Lankan music, often in conjunction with dance performances and religious rituals.
